McMaster University’s Automotive Policy Research Centre (APRC)– Specialized Advisory Services

Prism assisted McMaster University’s Faculty of Social Science in launching the Automotive Policy Research Centre (APRC) and continues to provide advisory services.  McMaster’s Industrial Partners in the APRC are Ford, Toyota, Unifor and the Automotive Parts Manufacturing Association.  Ken Delaney, a Partner at Prism, continues to serves as the APRC’s Industry Liaison and Special Advisor.  The APRC is examining the role that public policy plays in ensuring a competitive automotive industry.  It is committed to convening representatives of industry, labour, government and academia in policy discussions, and it is conducting research on subjects ranging from innovation policy to labour market trends, and from the role of policy in encouraging electrification of the automobile to trends in automotive trade.
