Prism Economics  developed a regionally-based labour market information system for the CME and CSTEC that tracks skilled trades and technician and technologist occupations in the top fifteen manufacturing regions in Canada.

This system provides ten-year supply and demand forecasts for each region based on the structure of manufacturing and the specific occupational requirements in the region.  These forecasts are validated through Regional Industrial Committees in each region that provide on-the-ground confirmation of the outlooks and human resource requirements.
